Build a professional, consistent brand image with custom corporate uniforms for offices, banks, real estate and professional services across the UAE and GCC.

This guide covers the whole corporate uniform programme: which garments suit which roles, how to choose fabric for staff who move between cold offices and a hot commute, where branding and identification fit in, and how to roll out and reorder without losing consistency. Uniform Suppliers UAE is the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, operating since 2007.

Who this guide is for

  • HR and administration teams introducing a uniform for the first time or replacing a dress code that is applied unevenly.
  • Brand and marketing teams who need staff appearance to match a new or refreshed identity.
  • Procurement teams standardising garments across branches, emirates or GCC offices.
  • Office and facilities managers responsible for reception, drivers and support staff.

For a role-by-role view of a single office, see the corporate and office uniforms industry page. This page deals with the programme as a whole.

The corporate garment range

A corporate wardrobe is built from a small number of coordinated pieces. The full range is in the corporate uniforms category:

Garments can be custom manufactured in your colours and design, supplied from ready stock with your branding, or combined in one programme.

Corporate uniforms by role group

One garment rarely suits everyone. Group roles by how visible they are to clients and how they spend the working day, then give each group a small, coordinated set.

Role groupTypical garmentsWhat to specify
Front office and receptionBlazer or waistcoat, shirt or blouse, formal trousers or skirt, tie or scarf, name badgeExact brand colour, fabric that resists creasing through a full day, sleeve and length options, badge position
Sales and client-facingSuit or blazer with shirt or blouse; corporate polo for showroom and field visitsBreathable fabric for travel between meetings, a second option for outdoor visits, discreet logo placement
Back officeCorporate shirt or polo, trousers, cardigan or knitwearComfort across a long seated day, easy home laundering, a layer for cold air-conditioning
ManagementTailored suit or blazer, shirt or blouse, tie or scarfIndividual fit and a finer cloth within the same colour family, subtle branding
Drivers and support staffPolo or hard-wearing shirt, trousers, cap, ID card and lanyardDurable, breathable fabric for heat, darker shades that hide marks, clear company identification

Keep the colour palette and logo treatment the same across all groups. Variation in garment type is expected; variation in shade or logo size is what makes a team look inconsistent.

Fabric choices: air-conditioned offices and commuting heat

Corporate staff in the UAE face two climates in one day. The fabric has to be comfortable in both.

Inside the office

Offices, banking halls and showrooms are often strongly air-conditioned. Lightweight shirting on its own can feel cold after several hours at a desk, so plan a layer: a lined blazer, a waistcoat or branded knitwear. Blended suiting cloths are widely used for blazers and trousers because they hold their shape and resist creasing when seated.

On the commute and on visits

Walking from a car park, using public transport or visiting a client site means summer heat and humidity. Breathable shirt fabrics, lighter weights and unlined or half-lined jackets help. Darker shades and textured or striped weaves show perspiration marks less than plain mid-tone colours, and a polo shirt is a practical alternative for roles that spend time outdoors.

Laundering

Most corporate uniforms are washed at home, so easy-care fabrics that need little ironing are worth specifying. Issue enough sets for staff to rotate through the working week. The fabric care guide covers washing and storage, and the guide to fabric GSM explains how weight affects comfort.

We give UAE and GCC climate-ready fabric recommendations for each role. This is advice, not a performance guarantee. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.

Branding and workforce identity

Match your brand colours, add embroidered or printed logos, and decide the placement once so that it is repeated on every garment. Embroidery is the usual choice for shirts, blazers, knitwear and polos; print suits larger designs on casual garments. The branding methods guide compares the options, and a free digital logo mock-up is provided before production.

Identity does not stop at the garment. Name badges, ID cards and lanyards complete the picture and are often what a visitor notices first. Browse workforce accessories, including name badges, ID cards and lanyards. Eligible engraved badges carry a one-year no-fading warranty; see the warranty terms.

Sizing and inclusive fit

UAE workforces are multinational, and a single standard size chart seldom fits everyone well. A corporate programme should plan for this from the start.

  • Separate cuts for men and women, not one unisex block for tailored garments.
  • A wide size range, with individual measurement where standard sizes do not fit.
  • Modest options, such as long sleeves, longer jacket and tunic lengths, looser cuts and coordinating scarves.
  • Alternatives within each role, such as trousers or a skirt, so that staff can choose what they are comfortable wearing.

Free onsite individual uniform measurement is offered in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders, and garments measured by Mustang are covered by a fit-correction guarantee, which does not cover body-size changes after measurement. See onsite measurement and the size and fit guide.

Rollout: how a corporate programme runs

  1. Wardrobe plan. Agree role groups, garments for each group and the number of sets issued.
  2. Fabric and mock-up. Review fabric options and approve a free digital logo mock-up.
  3. Measurement. Staff are measured onsite for qualifying orders.
  4. Sample. Free uniform samples are provided against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO).
  5. Production. Custom garments are made to the approved sample. Urgent staff are supplied from ready stock while the custom order is completed.
  6. Packing. Orders are packed employee by employee, by name, department, branch or location.

Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation. For the manufacturing stages in detail, see custom uniform manufacturing.

Repeat orders and new joiners

We store approved sizing, fabric and branding details so reorders stay consistent as your team grows. A new joiner receives the same garment, shade and logo position as colleagues who were issued uniforms in the first rollout.

An employee uniform programme covers rollout, new-joiner kits, replacements and annual replenishment. For offices elsewhere in the Gulf, see GCC uniform supply; free onsite measurement applies in the UAE only.

Plan your corporate uniform programme

Share your role groups, headcount and brand guidelines, and we will propose garments and fabrics for each group.

Frequently asked questions

Which garments make up a typical corporate uniform?

Most programmes combine a shirt or blouse with formal trousers or a skirt, then add a blazer, waistcoat or knitwear depending on the role. Polo shirts are common for support and field roles, and a name badge or ID card completes the set.

Can you match our exact brand colours?

Send your brand colour references with the brief. The closest suitable fabric shade is proposed for each garment, and you approve it at sample stage before production.

Should office staff wear formal shirts or polo shirts?

It depends on the role. Formal shirts suit reception, sales and management; polo shirts suit showroom, field and support teams who need more freedom of movement. Many companies use both within one colour palette.

How many sets should each employee receive?

Enough to rotate through the working week without washing a garment every day. The right allocation depends on working pattern and laundering method, and should be written into your uniform policy.

Do you offer modest options for corporate uniforms?

Yes. Long sleeves, longer lengths, looser cuts and coordinating scarves can be specified at the brief stage and confirmed for each employee during measurement.

How do we order for new joiners later?

Because approved sizing, fabric, colour and logo position are stored, a new-joiner order is produced from the same record. Where staff start before a custom order is ready, they can be supplied from ready stock in the meantime.
