Warehouse uniforms in the UAE have to work in two climates on the same shift: a hot loading bay or yard, and an air-conditioned or chilled storage hall. They also have to keep people visible around moving equipment and easy to identify by function.
Uniform Suppliers UAE, the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, supplies uniform programmes for warehouse, distribution, fulfilment and delivery teams across the UAE and GCC. This page covers what each role typically wears, what to specify, and how supply is organised across sites and shifts.
The uniform challenge in UAE warehousing and logistics
Logistics operations run long hours, often across several sheds, free-zone facilities and emirates, with headcount that rises sharply at peak periods. Uniforms need to be practical for bending, lifting and climbing in and out of vehicles, simple to launder frequently, and consistent enough that a supervisor can tell a picker from a visitor at a glance.
Three decisions shape most programmes:
- how visibility is handled where people and vehicles share the same floor;
- how one team is dressed for heat outside and cold inside;
- how temporary and agency staff are kitted for peak season.
Garments by role
Use this table, with our warehousing and logistics uniforms range, as a starting point for your enquiry.
| Role | Typical garments | What to specify |
|---|---|---|
| Pickers and packers | Polo shirts or work shirts, work or cargo trousers, safety shoes, high-visibility vest where required | Fabric weight for active work, pockets for scanners and pens, colour by function |
| Forklift and MHE operators | Work shirt or polo, work trousers, high-visibility clothing, safety shoes | Visibility level set by your risk assessment, a fit that does not catch on controls, operator identification |
| Loading bay teams | Work shirts, trousers, high-visibility vests or jackets, safety shoes or boots, gloves | Day and night visibility, footwear protection features, sun and heat exposure |
| Drivers and couriers | Branded polo or shirt, trousers, cap, jacket for early shifts, safety shoes | Customer-facing appearance, logo visibility, comfort when seated for long periods |
| Supervisors and team leaders | Contrasting-colour shirt or polo, high-visibility vest marked with the role | Colour or marking that distinguishes supervisors, name badge |
| Cold-store staff | Insulated jackets and trousers, thermal layers, gloves, suitable footwear | Storage temperature range, time spent inside per entry, layering over the standard uniform |
| Office and dispatch staff | Corporate shirts or polo shirts, trousers, knitwear for air-conditioned offices | Embroidery position, visitor vest for access to the warehouse floor |
Fabric, visibility and footwear notes
Fabric weight is the main comfort decision. Lighter fabrics suit pickers who are moving constantly in a non-chilled shed, while heavier twills are usually chosen for loading bays where garments rub against pallets and racking. Our guide to fabric GSM for workwear in the UAE explains how to compare weights.
High-visibility colour and tape layout should come from your risk assessment and any rule set by the site owner. If a particular high-visibility, footwear or cold-store standard is required, state it in the enquiry and ask for the documentation that supports the product proposed. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.
For footwear, decide on toe protection, sole type and ankle height by task before comparing styles. Our article on choosing safety shoes and boots for UAE worksites sets out the questions to ask. Fabric recommendations for UAE and GCC conditions are advice based on your working environment, not a performance guarantee.
Branding and identification
Colour coding is the simplest control on a busy floor. Many operators give pickers, equipment operators, supervisors, visitors and agency staff different shirt or vest colours, so that anyone in the wrong zone stands out.
Embroidery suits polo shirts and work shirts, while printing is normally used for large back logos and high-visibility vests. Both are handled in-house, and you receive a free digital logo mock-up before production. See branding methods for the options.
Name badges, ID cards and lanyards from our workforce accessories range can be ordered with the garments, which helps where access to bonded or restricted areas is controlled by ID.
How ordering works
- Enquiry: send roles, headcount by site, sizes if known and your logo through Request a Quote.
- Proposal: we combine ready-stock garments with custom manufacturing in one programme, so core staff and peak-season staff wear the same look.
- Mock-up and sample: a free digital logo mock-up comes first. Uniform samples are free against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO).
- Measurement: free onsite individual uniform measurement is available in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. See onsite measurement.
- Packing: garments are packed employee by employee, by name, department, branch or location, so each warehouse receives its own labelled issue.
- Repeat orders: approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding are stored for new joiners and replacements under an employee uniform programme.
Our showroom is in Jebel Ali, Dubai, near JAFZA; see contact us to arrange a visit. Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation.

Frequently asked questions
Can you kit out temporary staff for peak season?
Yes. Urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while a custom order is completed and ready-stock garments can be selected to sit alongside your core uniform colours. Tell us the expected headcount and start date with the enquiry.
Do warehouse staff need high-visibility clothing at all times?
That is decided by your risk assessment, your traffic management plan and any rule set by the site owner. Employers should confirm current requirements with the relevant authority. We supply the colours, garments and markings your specification calls for.
What do cold-store staff need on top of the standard uniform?
Usually an insulated jacket and trousers, thermal layers, gloves and suitable footwear, chosen for the storage temperature and the time spent inside. Give us both figures and we will propose options for you to assess on a sample.
Can uniforms be sent to several warehouses?
Yes. Orders are packed by employee and grouped by branch or location. For facilities in other GCC countries, delivery and customs commitments are quoted per project.
