Security uniforms in the UAE do two jobs. They make a guard recognisable to the public at a glance, and they carry the security company’s identity onto a client’s premises, often for a full shift in the open.

Private security is a regulated activity in the UAE, and a security company’s uniform and insignia may be subject to requirements set by its licensing authority. Security companies must confirm current uniform and insignia requirements with that authority before ordering. Mustang produces to the client’s approved specification and makes no claim of regulatory approval for any garment.

Uniform Suppliers UAE is the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, operating since 2007 and supplying the UAE first and the wider GCC second.

The uniform challenge for security companies

Guards stand at gates, car parks and building entrances in summer heat, then step into strongly air-conditioned lobbies and control rooms. Shifts are long, garments are laundered frequently, and the uniform still has to look sharp at the end of the week.

Security companies also deploy across many client sites at once. Headcount changes with each new contract, guards move between posts, and new joiners need a complete issue before their first shift. The practical questions are how many sets each guard receives, how sizes are captured for a large and varied workforce, and how replacements are kept identical to the original issue.

Specification first

Start with your approved specification: colours, garment styles, and the wording, size and position of every badge and marking. Send it with your enquiry. We produce what the specification shows and do not add, alter or suggest insignia beyond it.

Fabric and climate notes

Dark colours are common in security uniforms and absorb more heat outdoors, so fabric weight and weave matter. Ask for the fabric composition and weight in GSM, and compare shirt options on a physical sample before committing a whole workforce to one cloth.

  • Outdoor posts: lighter shirting and a cap for sun, with a jacket held for night and winter shifts.
  • Indoor posts: a layer for lobbies and control rooms where air-conditioning is strong.
  • Laundering: plan enough sets per guard for the shift pattern, and share the care instructions with staff. See our fabric care guide.

Our fabric recommendations for UAE and GCC conditions are advice based on the posts your guards cover, not a performance guarantee. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.

Branding and identification

Company name and logo are normally embroidered, which is handled in-house through our embroidery service. You receive a free digital logo mock-up before production, so positions and wording can be checked against your specification.

Name badges, ID cards and lanyards are available from our workforce accessories range, and eligible engraved badges carry a one-year no-fading warranty under our warranty terms. For patrol, traffic and event duties, see high-visibility clothing.

How ordering works

  1. Enquiry: send your approved specification, roles, headcount by site and logo artwork through Request a Quote.
  2. Mock-up and sample: a free digital logo mock-up, then uniform samples, which are free against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO). Use the sample for any sign-off your own process requires.
  3. Measurement: free onsite individual uniform measurement is available in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. See onsite measurement.
  4. Production and packing: garments are packed employee by employee, by name, department, branch or location, ready for issue at each site.
  5. Repeat orders: approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding are stored, and new-joiner kits and replacements are managed through an employee uniform programme.

Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Do your security uniforms carry any regulatory approval?

No. We make no claim of regulatory approval. Security companies must confirm current uniform and insignia requirements with their licensing authority, and we produce to the specification you have had approved. The mock-up and sample are there to support your own sign-off.

Can you measure guards on site?

Free onsite individual uniform measurement is available in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. Garments measured by Mustang are covered by a fit-correction guarantee, which does not cover body-size changes after measurement.

How are new guards kitted when they join mid-contract?

Stored records of sizing, fabric, colour and branding mean a new-joiner kit matches the original issue. Urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while a custom order is completed; tell us which ready-stock garments your specification permits.

Can badges, ID cards and lanyards be ordered with the uniforms?

Yes. Uniforms, badges, ID cards, lanyards and accessories can be supplied as one workforce identity package, with badge wording produced only as shown in your approved artwork.
