For a uniform order, quality assurance means agreeing exactly what the garment should be before it is made, and then checking the delivered goods against that agreement. This page explains the controls built into an order with Uniform Suppliers UAE, the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, Dubai, operating since 2007.

It also gives a plain account of certifications: what they cover, who actually holds them and what a buyer should ask to see.

Uniform quality assurance in a Mustang order

Each step below produces a reference that the next step is checked against. Together they replace assumptions with approvals.

1. Logo mock-up before production

We prepare a free digital logo mock-up before production. It shows the logo position, size and colours on the garment, so spelling, placement and colour errors are corrected on screen rather than on finished stock. Branding is then carried out with in-house printing, embroidery and engraving support.

2. An approved sample as the production reference

We provide free uniform samples against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO). Once you approve the sample, it becomes the production reference for fabric, colour, construction, fit and branding. The sample policy sets out the conditions, and the uniform sampling page describes the process.

3. Measurement and fit correction

We provide free onsite individual uniform measurement in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. Garments measured by Mustang are covered by our fit-correction guarantee; it does not cover body-size changes after measurement. Details are in the measurement policy.

4. Badge warranty

Eligible engraved badges carry a one-year no-fading warranty. See the warranty terms for eligibility and conditions.

5. Stored specification records

We keep stored records of approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding for repeat orders. A repeat order, a new-joiner kit or a replacement garment is therefore produced against the same approved reference as the original issue.

6. Checks you can make on receipt

  • Count garments against the packing list. Orders can be packed employee by employee, by name, department, branch or location, which makes this check quick.
  • Compare fabric, colour and construction with the approved sample.
  • Compare logo position, size and colours with the approved mock-up.
  • Check size labels against the size record for a selection of employees.
  • Inspect seams, buttons, zips and hems on a selection of garments from each style.
  • Report any discrepancy promptly through the contact page, with photographs and the packing reference.

Certifications, stated honestly

A certificate belongs to whoever is named on it: a fabric mill, a manufacturing facility, a product or a brand. It does not pass automatically to every company that later handles the goods.

Mustang does not claim certifications it does not hold, and this page does not present any certificate as held by Mustang. Where a project requires a certified fabric, facility or protective product, state the requirement in your enquiry. The relevant documentation for the specific product is provided during quotation where available. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.

Four categories of certification

CategoryWhat it coversWho holds itWhat to ask for
CompanyHow an organisation manages its processes, for example a quality management system. It does not certify individual products. The audited company named on the certificate.A copy showing the holder, scope, issuing body and expiry date.
Manufacturing facilityConditions and controls at one production site, for example a social compliance audit. The facility that was audited.Confirmation that the named facility is the one producing your order.
FabricProperties of a textile, for example textile safety testing for harmful substances, fibre origin or recycled content. The mill, or the certified fabric article. The certificate or test report naming the fabric and its article reference.
Product safetyConformity of a protective item to a named standard, for example PPE conformity for footwear or high-visibility clothing. The manufacturer or brand of that product. The conformity document and test report for the exact model, plus product marking and user instructions.

Our published guide, textile and uniform manufacturing certifications explained, describes the main schemes. Unfamiliar terms are defined in the uniform manufacturing glossary.

Protective clothing and site rules

For safety workwear and PPE, the standard required is set by your risk assessment, your client or the site operator. Employers should confirm current requirements with the relevant authority, and name the required standard in the enquiry so that documentation can be requested for the specific product.
