Employers that operate in more than one Gulf country often discover the same problem: every country office has bought its own uniforms. Shades of the brand colour differ, logos sit in different positions, and nobody holds a single record of what was approved. Bringing those teams back to one standard is harder than setting it up properly at the start.
Uniform Suppliers UAE is the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, operating since 2007 from Dubai. From our UAE base we manage one uniform specification for employers with teams in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, with GCC delivery and project coordination quoted per project.
This page explains how a multi-country uniform programme is structured, what has to be decided before the first order, and where the limits are, so that procurement, HR and operations teams can plan realistically.
Who GCC uniform supply is for
A regional programme makes sense when the same role should look the same in every country, and when someone at group level is accountable for that standard.
- Multinational groups with a regional head office in the UAE and branches elsewhere in the GCC.
- Hotel, restaurant and retail groups opening sites in several countries under one brand standard.
- Contractors, facilities-management and logistics companies mobilising workforces for projects in more than one country.
- Franchise operators who must follow a brand owner’s uniform manual in every territory.
- Regional procurement teams that want one specification, one record and one point of coordination.
If each country genuinely needs a different uniform, a regional programme adds little. If the differences are accidental, it removes them.
What can be supplied under one specification
A single specification can cover every garment and identity item a role needs, so that a new joiner in Riyadh, Doha or Muscat receives the same kit as a colleague in Dubai.
- Corporate uniforms for offices, branches and customer-service teams.
- Hospitality uniforms for hotels, restaurants and catering.
- Healthcare uniforms for clinics, hospitals and pharmacies.
- Industrial workwear and safety and PPE for sites, plants and warehouses.
- Workforce accessories including name badges, ID cards and lanyards.
Garments can be made to order through custom uniform manufacturing, supplied from ready stock, or combined in one programme. Selected international garment brands are also available through Mustang; see brands. Embroidery, printing and engraving are handled in-house, which keeps logo size, thread colour and position identical across every country batch.
Fabric, colour references and construction details are written into the master specification and apply to every order placed against it. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.
Consolidated or country-by-country supply
There is no single correct way to order for several countries. The right model depends on who holds the budget, who receives the goods and whether all sites change uniform at the same time.
| Supply model | How it works | Suits | What to confirm first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consolidated regional order | The regional office places one order, produced as a single batch and packed by country, branch and employee | Rollouts and rebrands where every site changes together | Who receives the goods in each country and who is responsible for import duties |
| Country-by-country orders | Each country entity places its own order against the shared, approved specification | Groups where each entity has its own budget and LPO process | That every entity is working from the same approved specification record |
| Phased rollout | The UAE or a pilot country is supplied first, and other countries follow using the approved samples | New brand standards that need testing before wider release | The sequence of countries and the sign-off needed at each stage |
| Central order with local top-ups | The main order is consolidated, then new joiners and replacements are ordered by each country as needed | Stable teams with regular staff turnover | Reorder contacts, size records and packing labels for each site |
Mustang recommendation: whichever model you choose, approve one physical sample and one written specification at group level before any country orders. Most inconsistency in regional uniforms comes from each country approving its own sample.
How a GCC programme runs
- Specification. We agree one master specification: garments by role, fabric, colour references, logo artwork and position, and the size range.
- Mock-up. You receive a free digital logo mock-up before production, which can be circulated to every country stakeholder for a single sign-off.
- Sample. Free uniform samples are provided against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO). The approved sample becomes the reference for every country. See uniform sampling.
- Sizing. Sizes are collected for each country using the method agreed for that location, as explained below.
- Production. Custom garments are produced and branded, and ready-stock items are branded alongside them. Urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while the custom order is completed.
- Packing. Consignments are packed by country, branch or site and then employee by employee, by name and department.
- Delivery coordination. Shipment to each country is coordinated from the UAE on the terms quoted for the project.
- Repeat orders. Approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding are kept on record for new joiners, replacements and annual replenishment.
Sizing across borders
Free onsite individual measurement is offered in the UAE only, for qualifying company uniform orders. Garments measured by Mustang are covered by our fit-correction guarantee, on the terms set out in the measurement policy.
For teams in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, sizing is handled remotely. Options include size sets for try-on, size charts and measurement guidance for a local coordinator, and the approach is agreed during quotation. Our size and fit guide shows how measurements are taken.
Packing that matches how you distribute
Employee-level packing matters more in a regional programme than in a single-site order. When each parcel is labelled with country, branch, department and employee name, a site manager can hand out uniforms without opening and re-sorting cartons. Send us your staff list in the structure you use internally and packing follows it.
Programme management after the first order
Rollout is only the beginning. New-joiner kits, replacements and annual replenishment can be run as a uniform lifecycle programme against the stored specification. See employee uniform programmes for how this is organised.
GCC considerations to plan for
Climate
Conditions are not identical across the Gulf. Coastal cities combine heat with high humidity, inland locations are typically hotter and drier, and indoor workplaces everywhere are strongly air-conditioned. We give UAE and GCC climate-ready fabric recommendations as advice, and a role that works outdoors in one country may need a lighter fabric option within the same specification.
Dress expectations
Expectations on modesty and workplace dress differ by country, sector and employer. Build long-sleeve, longer-length and trouser options into the range from the start. Employers should confirm current local requirements with the relevant authority or their in-country HR team before approving a design.
Delivery, duties and customs
Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation. Exact delivery time, shipping method, duties and customs commitments are quoted per project, because they depend on the destination, the consignment and the receiving entity. Decide early who will receive the goods in each country and which party is responsible for import formalities, and tell us with the enquiry. Our delivery policy sets out the general terms.
Documentation
Tell us which documents your receiving entity and procurement team need. Requirements differ by country and by consignee, and the documentation we can provide is confirmed per project before the order is placed.

Frequently asked questions
Which GCC countries do you supply?
The UAE is our home market, and GCC supply covers Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. Programmes are coordinated from our UAE base and quoted per project.
Is onsite measurement available outside the UAE?
No. Free onsite individual measurement is a UAE-only service for qualifying company uniform orders. In other GCC countries sizing is handled remotely with size sets, size charts and measurement guidance, as agreed during quotation.
How long does delivery to other GCC countries take?
Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation. They depend on the garments, the branding, the approval schedule and the shipping arrangements for the destination, so share your target dates with the first enquiry.
Who is responsible for duties and customs?
Duties and customs commitments are quoted per project. The quotation states what is included and what remains with the receiving entity, so agree the importing party for each country before you order.
Can each country place its own orders?
Yes. Country entities can order separately against the shared specification, or the regional office can place one consolidated order. In both cases the stored specification keeps colours, fabric and branding consistent.
Can new joiners be supplied between main orders?
Yes. New-joiner kits and replacements are ordered against the stored records. Urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while a custom order is completed, with suitable garments confirmed when we quote.
