A hotel is not one workforce. It is eight or more departments working different shifts in different conditions, from an air-conditioned lobby to a hot kitchen line and an outdoor pool deck, all of which the guest reads as a single brand. Planning hotel uniforms UAE properties can live with for years means writing a brief for each department, not choosing one look and stretching it across the building.

Uniform Suppliers UAE, the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, supplies and manufactures coordinated uniforms for front office, concierge, housekeeping, spa, and food and beverage teams. This page is the department-by-department summary. For fabric, design and programme guidance in depth, read our hospitality uniforms UAE guide.

The hotel uniform challenge in the UAE

Hotel uniforms are laundered far more often than most workwear, usually through an in-house or contracted commercial laundry. Colours, trims and interlinings that look right on day one have to survive that cycle, so laundering method belongs in the brief from the start.

Teams are also large, multi-national and constantly changing. Seasonal recruitment, transfers between sister properties and pre-opening mobilisation all create moments when many people need correctly sized garments at once. Wide size ranges and modest-fit options, such as longer tunics and full-length sleeves, should be planned in, not added later.

Fabric and climate notes

Guest-facing staff move between cold lobbies and the heat of the porte-cochère, terrace or pool. Lighter cloths with breathable linings suit doormen, bell staff and outdoor servers, while front-desk teams often need a structured jacket that stays comfortable under strong air-conditioning.

Back of house

Kitchen, laundry and engineering teams work in heat and humidity, so breathability and ease of movement come first. Housekeeping garments need stretch and durable seams because the work is physical and repetitive.

We provide UAE and GCC climate-ready fabric recommendations for each department as advice, not as a performance guarantee, and we ask how the garments will be laundered before recommending a cloth. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.

Branding and identification

Most properties keep embroidery small and precise on tailored garments and use it more boldly on chef jackets and aprons. Embroidery, printing and engraving are handled in-house, and you receive a free digital logo mock-up before production.

Name badges are part of the guest experience, so decide early whether they show first name, department or languages spoken. Name badges, engraved badges, ID cards and lanyards can be supplied with the uniforms; eligible engraved badges carry a one-year no-fading warranty.

How ordering works

  1. Department brief. List departments, roles, numbers and garments per person, with your brand guidelines.
  2. Mock-up and samples. A free digital logo mock-up is prepared, and free uniform samples are provided against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO).
  3. Measurement. Free onsite measurement in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders, carried out employee by employee. See onsite measurement.
  4. Production. Ready-stock garments can be combined with custom manufacturing in one programme, and urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while the custom order is completed.
  5. Packing. Garments are packed employee by employee, labelled by name, department, branch or location, which simplifies issue through the uniform room.
  6. Repeat orders. Approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding records are stored for replacements and new joiners.

Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation. For properties elsewhere in the Gulf, see GCC uniform supply; delivery and customs commitments are quoted per project.

Frequently asked questions

Can one supplier cover every department?

Yes. Front office, housekeeping, kitchen, service, spa, engineering and security garments can be supplied together with badges, ID cards, lanyards and accessories, so colours and branding are managed in one place.

How should we plan uniforms for a pre-opening?

Start with the department brief and approvals as early as your recruitment plan allows, because sampling and measurement depend on staff being available. Ready-stock garments can cover urgent joiners while custom pieces are completed. Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation.

Do you measure staff at the hotel?

Free onsite individual measurement is available in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. Garments measured by Mustang are covered by a fit-correction guarantee, which does not cover body-size changes after measurement.

How are replacements handled after the first rollout?

Stored records mean replacements and new-joiner kits are made to the approved specification. An employee uniform programme can cover rollout, new joiners, replacements and annual replenishment.
