Uniform Suppliers UAE is the uniform and workforce-identity division of Mustang Advertising Trading LLC, operating since 2007. We supply hard-wearing workwear and PPE for construction, engineering, oil and gas, manufacturing and logistics across the UAE and GCC.

Industrial uniforms do two different jobs. Everyday workwear identifies the workforce and stands up to dust, abrasion and daily washing. Safety workwear and PPE are selected to control a specific hazard, and that selection belongs to the employer’s own risk assessment and to site or operator requirements. This page covers both, and shows what to ask a supplier to evidence before you place an order.

Who this page is for

  • Contractors and engineering firms mobilising crews for a new project.
  • Manufacturers and workshops dressing production, maintenance and stores teams.
  • Oil, gas and energy companies and their subcontractors working to operator specifications.
  • Warehousing and logistics operators with pickers, drivers and loading teams.
  • Facilities management companies supplying technicians and cleaners to client sites.
  • HSE, procurement and HR managers who need one controlled specification across several sites.

Our industrial workwear and safety range

Industrial workwear

The industrial workwear range covers coveralls and boilersuits for one-piece coverage, plus work shirts, work trousers and work jackets for two-piece uniforms. Mechanic uniforms suit garages, workshops and fleet maintenance teams.

Safety workwear and PPE

The safety and PPE range includes high-visibility clothing, flame-resistant garments, safety shoes, safety boots, safety gloves, head and eye protection and disposable protective wear.

Branding and identification

Add company branding and worker names for clear on-site identification. Embroidery and printing are handled with in-house branding support, and ID cards, lanyards and name badges can be supplied in the same programme. On protective garments, logo size and position should be agreed so that reflective or protective areas are not covered.

Garment and PPE selection table

The standards named below are examples for buyer education only. They are not a statement about any specific product. Always ask for the product’s conformity documentation for the exact item quoted.

Garment or PPE typeTypical useWhat to ask the supplier to evidence
CoverallsConstruction, maintenance, workshops and plant work where full-body coverage is wantedFabric composition and weight, seam and zip construction, shrinkage after washing, size range
BoilersuitsMechanical, marine and heavy maintenance workFabric weight, reinforcement points, closure type, pocket layout
Work shirts and trousersManufacturing, warehousing, facilities and supervisory rolesFabric composition, colourfastness, knee and seat reinforcement, branding method
High-visibility clothingRoadworks, sites with moving plant, loading yards and warehousesConformity documentation for the garment, for example to EN ISO 20471, the class stated on the label, and care limits for the reflective tape
Flame-resistant garmentsHot work and oil, gas and energy sites where the operator requires themConformity documentation, for example to EN ISO 11612, whether protection is inherent or treated, wash-life instructions, and compatibility of any branding
Safety footwearAny site with impact, puncture or slip hazardsConformity documentation, for example to EN ISO 20345, the protection category on the label, sole type and sizing range
Safety glovesHandling, mechanical, chemical or thermal tasksThe product datasheet showing which hazards the glove is rated for, matched to the task in your risk assessment
Head and eye protectionSites with overhead, impact, dust or splash hazardsConformity documentation, date of manufacture, replacement guidance and compatibility with other PPE worn

Where specific safety standards or certifications are required, the exact specification is confirmed during quotation — we never assign a safety standard that has not been verified for your order. Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.

PPE selection starts with your risk assessment

A supplier can explain options and provide documents. A supplier cannot decide which protection your people need. PPE selection must follow the employer’s own risk assessment and the requirements of the site owner, main contractor or operator.

  • List the hazards by task, not by job title. A warehouse supervisor and a forklift operator may need different visibility levels.
  • Collect client and operator requirements early. Many oil, gas and energy sites publish their own garment and PPE specifications, and these override general practice.
  • Request documents with the quotation. Ask for conformity documentation and datasheets for each protective item, and file them with your HSE records.
  • Check the label matches the paperwork. The standard, class and size on the garment label should match the documents supplied.
  • Confirm legal duties. Employers should confirm current requirements with the relevant authority.

UAE and GCC worksite considerations

Heat, dust and sun

Outdoor crews work in high heat and humidity for much of the year. Fabric weight is a trade-off: heavier fabrics resist abrasion, lighter fabrics are more comfortable in summer. Our guide to fabric GSM for workwear in the UAE explains the choice. We give UAE and GCC climate-ready fabric recommendations as advice, not as a performance guarantee.

Frequent laundering

Workwear is washed often, sometimes in shared laundry facilities at staff accommodation. Ask about shrinkage and colourfastness, and follow the care instructions on protective garments exactly, because washing outside those instructions can affect high-visibility and flame-resistant properties.

Large, multi-national crews

Crews cover a wide range of body sizes, and new workers arrive in groups during mobilisation. A wide size range, clear size labelling and packing by name and site prevent days of sorting at the camp or gate.

Footwear fit

Poorly fitting safety footwear is one of the most common worker complaints. See choosing safety shoes and boots for UAE worksites before fixing a single style for everyone.

How an industrial uniform programme runs with Mustang

  1. Brief. You share roles, headcount by site, your risk-assessment outcomes and any client or operator specification.
  2. Measurement. Free onsite individual uniform measurement is available in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. Garments measured by Mustang are covered by a fit-correction guarantee, which does not cover body-size changes after measurement. See onsite measurement.
  3. Mock-up. A free digital logo mock-up shows branding position and size before production.
  4. Sample. Free uniform samples are provided against a confirmed Local Purchase Order (LPO), so HSE and site managers can inspect the garment and its label.
  5. Production and supply. Ready-stock garments and custom manufacturing are combined in one programme. Urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while the custom order is completed.
  6. Packing. Orders are packed employee by employee, labelled by name, department, branch or location.
  7. Repeat orders. Approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding are stored on record for new-joiner kits, replacements and annual replenishment.

Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation. For projects elsewhere in the Gulf, see GCC uniform supply.

Frequently asked questions

Can you supply workwear and PPE together?

Yes. Coveralls, work shirts and trousers, high-visibility clothing, flame-resistant garments, safety footwear, gloves, head and eye protection, ID cards and lanyards can be supplied as one workforce identity package from one supplier.

Are your safety garments certified to a particular standard?

It depends on the specific product. We do not assign a safety standard that has not been verified for your order. Tell us the standard your risk assessment or site operator requires, and the conformity documentation for the exact item will be confirmed during quotation.

Who decides which PPE our workers need?

The employer, through its own risk assessment and the requirements of the site owner or operator. We explain the available options and provide product documentation to support that decision.

Can logos be added to high-visibility and flame-resistant garments?

Usually, but the size, position and method must be agreed so that branding does not cover reflective areas or conflict with the garment’s care and protection instructions. This is checked at the mock-up stage.

How do you handle large mobilisations?

Ready-stock garments and custom manufacturing are combined in one programme, and orders are packed by employee, site or department. Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation.

Do you measure workers on site?

Free onsite individual uniform measurement is available in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. For other GCC countries, sizing and project coordination are agreed per project.
