FAQ: GCC Delivery and Uniform Project Coordination

Supplying uniforms to one site in Dubai is straightforward. Supplying the same uniform to branches in several GCC countries at the same time raises different questions: who measures the staff, how cartons are labelled, who handles clearance and what happens when a new branch opens later.
This FAQ covers GCC uniform delivery and project coordination as we handle it from the UAE. One point applies throughout: exact delivery time and customs commitments are quoted per project, not published as standard terms.

GCC uniform delivery: coverage and timing
Do you deliver outside the UAE?
Yes. We deliver across the UAE and coordinate delivery to the wider GCC: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. The UAE is our home market, with production and warehouse operations in Dubai, and GCC projects are coordinated from there. Our GCC uniform supply page gives the overview, with country pages for Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
How long does GCC delivery take?
There is no single answer, and we do not publish standard delivery times. Lead time depends on whether garments are ready-stock or custom-made, the fabric and branding involved, the approval steps on your side, the destination and the shipping method. Delivery timelines are confirmed during quotation.
Who handles customs clearance and duties?
Responsibilities for freight, import clearance, duties and any local documentation are agreed project by project and written into the quotation. Import rules differ between countries and change over time, so buyers should confirm current requirements with their own customs authority or clearing agent. Our delivery policy sets out the general terms.
Can one order be delivered to several countries or branches?
Yes. A single programme can be split into consignments by country, city or branch. Tell us the delivery points and a named receiver for each at the quotation stage, so that packing and paperwork can be planned around them.
Sizing and measurement across countries
Is free onsite measurement available outside the UAE?
No. Free onsite individual uniform measurement is offered in the UAE for qualifying company uniform orders. For teams in other GCC countries, sizes are normally collected using size charts or try-on size sets, and the method is agreed at quotation. See onsite measurement for how the UAE service works.
How is sizing managed across sites?
Each site collects sizes in the same format, usually a list by employee name, department and branch. Our sizing chart guide explains how to measure consistently. Approved sizing is stored, so repeat orders for the same employee or role do not start from zero.
Does the fit-correction guarantee apply to GCC orders?
The fit-correction guarantee covers garments measured by Mustang and does not cover body-size changes after measurement. Where sizes are supplied by the customer from charts or size sets, the handling of exchanges or alterations is agreed in the quotation. See our measurement policy.
Project coordination, packing and repeat orders
Can you handle multi-country rollouts?
Yes. We standardise specifications and coordinate production, delivery and documentation, so that a housekeeping uniform or a site coverall is the same garment in every country. Our guide to multi-country rollouts walks through the planning stages.
Who coordinates the project?
We provide project coordination for larger GCC rollouts. On your side, it helps to appoint one central contact with authority over the specification, plus a receiver at each site. Late approvals and incomplete size lists are common causes of delay in multi-site projects, so agree early who signs off what.
How are garments packed for multiple branches?
We offer employee-by-employee packing by name, department, branch or location. Each employee’s set is packed and labelled individually, then grouped by site, so a branch manager can hand out uniforms without sorting cartons. Stored sizing and per-employee packing keep multi-site distribution simple.
What if some staff need uniforms before the custom order is ready?
Urgent staff can be supplied from ready stock while the custom order is completed, and ready-stock garments can be combined with custom manufacturing in one programme. See ready-stock uniforms.
How are new joiners and repeat orders handled?
We keep stored records of approved sizing, fabric, colour, logo position and branding for repeat orders. Under an employee uniform programme, the same records support new-joiner kits, replacements and annual replenishment for every country in the programme. Our article on rolling out uniforms across multiple branches covers the branch-level detail.
What to confirm before a multi-country uniform order
Most of the points below are decisions on the buyer’s side. Settling them before the quotation is finalised avoids rework later.
| Item | What to confirm | Usually decided by |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery points | Country, city, branch and a named receiver for each consignment | Buyer operations |
| Specification | One approved fabric, colour and branding per garment, or agreed country variations | Central procurement or brand team |
| Sizing method | Onsite measurement for UAE teams; size charts or size sets for other countries | HR, agreed with the supplier |
| Size list format | Employee name, department, branch, garment and size in one template | HR at each site |
| Packing | By employee, department, branch or location, and how cartons are labelled | Buyer instruction to the supplier |
| Shipping and clearance | Who arranges freight, who clears the goods and who pays duties | Agreed in the quotation |
| Documents | Purchase order details, consignee details and any paperwork the importer needs | Buyer and importer |
| Approvals | Mock-up and sample sign-off, and who has final authority | Central contact |
| Timeline | Opening or mobilisation date, and the approval deadlines that protect it | Both parties |
Final specification will be confirmed during quotation.
Mustang recommendation: treat a multi-country order as one specification with several delivery plans. Approve the garment, fabric and branding once, centrally, then let each country confirm only its sizes, quantities and receiving details. Share your opening or mobilisation dates at the enquiry stage, so the quotation can state the delivery and customs commitments for your project instead of assumptions.
Preparation checklist
- List the countries, sites and headcount by role.
- Nominate one central contact and one receiver per site.
- Send logo artwork and any existing uniform specification.
- Decide how sizes will be collected in each country.
- Identify the importer or clearing agent for each destination.
- State the dates that matter: openings, mobilisations, audits.
- Note any roles that need uniforms urgently.
Our uniform ordering checklist covers the general steps in more detail.
